Emilie Lozier, of the Geiger Research Group, has been named a 2022 Buffett Global Impacts Graduate Fellow in Northwestern University’s Roberta Buffett Institute for Global Affairs. Lozier is the first NU chemistry PhD student to be named a Northwestern Buffett Institute Global Impacts Graduate Fellow. The fellowship recognizes her work at the nexus of Pt-group element-free solar photoanodes, geochemistry, and the Science Policy Outreach Taskforce at NU. Lozier joins an elite interdisciplinary cohort of approximately 15 graduate students who applied from all schools and departments at NU. Congratulations, Emilie!
